It's got a clean title because he washed and dried it. It may be all clean and sparkly, but it will say salvage on it if you rebuild this thing.

It'll only be a salvage title if someone tells the DMV it was in an accident and was rebuilt. If you fix it yourself or get a mechanic who doesn't report to carfax then noone will be the wiser. Embrace the shadiness.
